Iran says diplomacy is only way to resolve conflict after Trump rejects peace plan
Iran says on Sunday that only diplomacy can resolve its conflict with Israel and the United States.

The peace proposal was announced by Iran last week and had been sent to the U.S. via Qatari mediators.
Trump rejected the plan on Saturday and argued that Iranians were desperate to push for an agreement on the key waterway.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on social media: "Our conditions are clear, and any move toward reopening the Strait of Hormuz is contingent on these conditions being met."
"Only a negotiated solution can get them out of this deadlock."
According to Araqchi, the discussions between Tehran and the U.S. have not been officially handed over as a U.S. rejection of the peace plan.
"We are waiting for the mediators to convey the definitive views to us, and we will make a decision based on them," he posted.
The U.S. has imposed an economic blockade to put pressure on Iran to halt attacks on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Wall Street Journal first reported that Trump had rejected the Iranian proposal, citing unnamed U.S. officials.
A U.S. official said earlier that talks with Iran through mediators were "positive and constructive."
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in an interview with the CBS show Face the Nation, said Iran was ready for talks on its nuclear programme and other issues, but would not accept "bullying or coercion."
